Hello everyone,
I am happy to present you the results of the last stream! From now on, the Fluffs from my game Fluff Adventure can look forward to the following new stuff.
Fog
The first level of Fluff Adventure takes place on a mountain with slopes on either side. To disguise the fact that the model of the level ends at some point, I added fog to the underside.
The result looks very good for the amount of work that went into it. I’m always amazed at how comparatively easy it is to integrate volume-based fog with the Unreal Engine.

Flags
Even if it sounds like little effort, the flags were a little complicated. The movements in the wind in particular proved to be a bit of a challenge.
But the result is impressive! The flags are inspired by Buddhist prayer flags, which are often found in mountainous regions such as the Himalayas – but without the deep meaning behind them. However, the colors could prove useful in puzzles…
The meaning behind these flags
Buddhist prayer flags are inscribed with prayers. Buddhists believe that the mantras written on the piece of cloth spread compassion and goodwill throughout the room. The aim is to eliminate negative energies. The small, colorful banners represent the promotion of peace, strength, wisdom and compassion. It is believed that the more the banner is worn by the wind, the more blessings it spreads to a large number of people.
